Commissions

First: Inquire. Rob Liptak has carved/sculpted many different items, from a sign on top of a mountain to a rabbit in a mini skirt. Just about anything will be considered.

Second: Once the parameters have been agreed upon, a formal quote will be sent. The quote may be a set price or be charged on an hourly basis if it requires special attention. (i.e. carving a foundation bench on top of a mountain which required travel and transport of tools.)

Third: If the price is agreeable, half of it would be required as a down payment. When the project is completed, balance would be due before shipping. If the project is not to satisfaction, the deposit will be forfeited, the carving becomes my property and the client would be reimbursed for the balance. there have not been any problems with this policy. Everyone to date has liked/loved the finished piece. The artist does keep in touch with the client while the project is in progress. If there are any complications, contact is made before continuing with the work.
